Due to the changing times, living costs are increasing which is stressful enough for anyone. But, for students to have added worries and pressures can be damaging to mental health.

Students have a never-ending list of worries, including getting a mortgage, saving money, finding a stable job with a good income, living costs and more. Our advice to students would be, try not to worry about them too much until after graduation and seek help from family and professionals.

In a survey conducted last year, almost half of students claimed that they turn to drink or drugs to cope with their problems. Something has to change. If you’re a university student that is struggling to cope, try reaching out to family or friends or contact your local GP for help.
