You don’t have to spend lots of money to make Valentine’s Day special. People tend to make a big deal about it and focus too much on how much they spend trying to impress when in reality, it’s just one day to remind the people you love, how much you love them.

So, with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, what have you got planned? Struggling for ideas? Don’t worry, we have a few here for you.

  • Breakfast in Bed
Most of us are used to having a hectic morning. So, making your loved one breakfast in bed will make a nice change.
  • Pizza & Movie Night
The great thing about this, you can do it at home and spend less, or go out, depending on how you feel.
  • Re-create Your First Date Night
Take things back to the start when you were full of butterflies whenever you saw their name pop up on your phone. Go back to the same place where you had your first date.
  • Try Something Different
Do something that you wouldn’t usually do to make to the day more memorable. Play mini golf, go swimming, go for a picnic or play Laser Quest.
  • Walk & a Cafe Date
Take a stroll around the country parks and lakes and visit a cafe afterwards for a hot chocolate and a cake.
  • Go for Cocktails
Luckily, Valentine’s Day falls on a Friday this year, so why not go out for a few cocktails?
  • Book a Night Away
Take a short break, book a hotel room, visit the spa, go out for dinner and simply enjoy each other’s company.
  • Bike Ride & Picnic
Spend some time in the countryside and take your loved one on a bike ride followed by a nice picnic.
  • Shopping Trip
Take a stroll around the shops. Buy some chocolates, books, bath-bombs and wine to enjoy in the evening.
  • Romantic Meal
You don’t always have to go to a fancy restaurant for it to be romantic. Order a take-away and enjoy it at home or cook a nice romantic meal.

We hope that this blog has given you some ideas about how to spoil your loved ones this Valentine’s Day.
